Louison Selected First Team All-Met by Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association

BROOKLYN, N.Y.—Adding to an already long list of accolades collected this season and over the course of his outstanding four-year career, St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) senior forward David Louison has been named to the All-Met Division III Men's Basketball First Team.

Louison and all the men's and women's All-Met honorees from across all three NCAA divisions will be honored at the 82nd NIT/MBWA Annual Haggerty Awards dinner on Wednesday, April 22nd at the Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown, N.Y.

After leading the Bears with 16.6 points and 11.4 rebounds this season en route to an 18-10 record and an appearance in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association National Tournament, Louison has already collected CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-America First Team, USCAA Student-Athlete of the Year, USCAA First Team All-American, AD3I First Team All-Independent and HVIAC Player of the Year honors this season and was selected to the NABC/Reese's Division III College All-Star Game.

The All-Met selection is the first ever by a Bear and one of the oldest awards programs in the nation recognizing the top collegiate basketball players in the New York metropolitan area.

A career 1,698-point scorer and the active Division III leader with 1,195 rebounds and 60 double-doubles, the St. Edmund Prep product concludes his career as one of the most decorated student athletes in St. Joseph's College history.
