Alumni Hoops Day Set For January 30th Doubleheader vs. Purchase
BROOKLYN, N.Y. — One of the annual highlights on the Bears and Lady Bears schedule, Alumni Hoops Day makes its second appearance in The Hill Center on Saturday, January 30, 2016 with St. Joseph's hosting Purchase College in a Skyline Conference doubleheader.
All alumni are welcome to participate in this fun-filled event, whether playing in the alumni game or just coming to watch. The alumni games take place at 1 p.m. with the tailgate party following at 3 p.m.
The Bears and Lady Bears will begin their final push towards the Skyline Conference tournament with the women meeting the Panthers are 4 p.m. followed by the men at 6 p.m.
In addition, the Lady Bears will join the fight against cancer and support the "Play 4Kay" initiative with the proceeds benefitting the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
