Urshela, Fuentes Named to USCAA Men's Soccer All-Academic Team

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Senior Raul Urshela (Orlando, Fla./Colonial) and Marco Fuentes (Orlando, Fla./Timber Creek) have both been named to the 2014 United States Collegiate Athletic Assocation (USCAA) National All-Academic Team as announced today at the USCAA Soccer National Championships Banquet.

Urshela is named to the USCAA All-Academic Team for the third straight year. The senior finished second on the team with nine goals, ending his career as the Bears all-time goals leader with 33. He also added two assists on the season.

The senior Fuentes also earns USCAA All-Academic Team honors for the third consecutive year. He appeared in two games on defense this season for St. Joseph's.

USCAA National All-Academic Team members must be sophomore academic standing or higher and maintain a minimum cumulative 3.5 grade point average in order to qualify.
