Naci Rescues Point for Men's Soccer against Farmingdale State

FARMINGDALE, N.Y. — Trailing 1-0 in the second half, Victor Naci (Bordeaux, France/Bernard Palissy) found the scoresheet for the ninth time this season; rescuing a draw for the St. Joseph's University, NY (Brooklyn) men's soccer team against Farmingdale State College on Tuesday night.

How it Happened

17 minutes into the contest, the Rams (2-3-2, 0-1-2) drew first blood on a Tyree Baskin Jr. goal. It proved to be the difference between the two after 45 minutes.

After not seeing a single shot in the first half, the Bears (2-2-3, 0-1-2) went on the offensive in the second half, registering four shots. The fourth shot came at 74' when Francisco Garcia (Brooklyn, N.Y./Park Slope Collegiate) played a ball into the box, finding Naci who headed home the equalizer in front of an empty net. Neither side were able to find a late winner, seeing the match end in a 1-1 draw.
