Bears Tennis Blanked by Pratt

FLUSHING, NY – The St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) men's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to Hudson Valley Men's Athletic Conference rivals Pratt Institute on Tuesday evening at the US National Tennis Center. 

Playing in his first match of the season, Javier Bosque (Brooklyn, NY/LaSalle Academy) took the most games off his opponent falling 10-2 at #4 singles and later teamed up with Iqbal Husain (West Palm Beach, FL/West Palm Beach) falling 8-1 at #3 singles.

The Bears (0-3, 0-2 HVMAC) return to the courts in search of their first win of the season, traveling to the Bronx to take on Lehman College tomorrow, April 12th at 4 p.m.
