As a Junior: Rushin led the Bears to a fourth place finish out of four scoring teams at the York College Invitational , running the 8-kilometer course in 34 minutes flat. Earning the AD3I honor for the first time in his career. His personal best for the season 33:24 at the CCNY Invitational.
As a Sophomore: Named to AD3I All-Independent Second Team... Earned HVIAC Fall All-Academic Team honors... Appeared in all five races for the Bears and has placed second on the team in each of the meets... Ran a career-best time of 19:28 in the 5k at the CSI Invitational good for 33rd place...
As a Freshman:Named to HVMAC All-Conference team... Ran in four races... Finished team best 20th at HVMAC Championships posting a time of 33:14... Finished team best 72nd in season opening race at Ramapo Invitational
