NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Statistical Leaders Update

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – In the latest NCAA Division III women's basketball statistical report released yesterday for games played through Thursday, January 17, sophomore Samantha Retas was ranked No. 9 in double-doubles and as a team the Lady Bears have moved up to No. 11 in blocks.

Retas has sat among the leaders all season and notched her 10th double-double in the victory over Trinity on Wednesday. Her 11.1 boards also moved her up to No. 26 in rebounds.

The Lady Bears have ascended up the block leaders in part to sophomore Taylor Raccuglia who averages nearly two rejections a game (1.94) and is now ranked No. 58, her highest ranking all season. Retas also contributes to the block party averaging 1.47 a tilt. 

As a team, the Lady Bears still rank highly in assists per game (16.6, No. 23) and field-goal percentage defense (32.2%, No. 27)

Senior Teresa Mangan has her name sprinkled among the Top 100 in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.45, No. 78), three-point field-goal percentage (35.6%, No. 79) and three-point field goals made (2.18, No. 98).
