Mount Saint Vincent leads 14-10 in matchups since 1995 including when they were both members of the HVWAC. St. Joseph's picked up their last win in the series on January 5, 2012.

Last Meeting

Kristin D'Chiutiis scored 17 second-half points to lead three Lady Bears in double-figures, but St. Joseph's dropped a 64-57 decision to Mount Saint Vincent on November 26, 2012 in Riverdale.

The Lady Bears led for the majority of a sloppy first half that featured a combined 27 turnovers and 17 percent shooting. St. Joseph's went into the lockers up 19-17 after a pair of Janine Doran free throws with just over a minute to play.

The Dolphins came out of the lockers on a 12-2 run to take a 29-21 lead and never trailed again. D'Chiutiis finished with a game-high 18 points, while Samantha Retas and Doran added 13 points each.

The Lady Bear Facts

Last Time Out: Four Lady Bears scored in double figures as No. 6 St. Joseph's erased a 21-point second-half deficit, before dropping a 74-67 decision to No. 16 Briarcliffe College in a USCAA matchup on Friday at Brooklyn Technical High School. After trailing 61-40 with 12:40 remaining, the Lady Bears tied the score up at 64-all with five minutes to play. However, the Bulldogs pulled away as St. Joseph's went 1-for-11 from the field down the stretch. Kelly McNamee scored a team-high 20 points in a losing effort.

St. Joseph's looks to pick up a signature win as they try to solidify their spot in the USCAA National Tournament, coming in ranked No. 6 in the latest Division I coaches' poll released Friday. The Lady Bears have continued their strong play to end the year which has become a trademark of Coach Carbone's teams throughout his tenure, coming in winning five of their last seven games.

After finishing last season ranked No. 9 in field goal percentage defense, St. Joseph's has taken their defense to the next level holding opponents to 29.8 percent shooting (No. 2 in Division III). Blocked shots have also continued to be a part of the Lady Bears defensive arsenal averaging 6.9 per game (No. 3 in Division III) after finishing last season ranked No. 9 nationally with 6.0 per game.

Senior Kelly McNamee comes into her final home game at Brooklyn Technical High School having the best season of her career with averages of 12.7 points per game and 2.5 assists per game. The guard is also shooting an impressive 36.6 percent from downtown. McNamee is stepping up her in the final month of her career, averaging 16.7 points per game and is shooting 41.7 percent from beyond the arc during three games so far in February.

Another senior Megan Moran is also having a career year, averaging 12.0 points per game including 16.0 points per game over the last ten games as St. Joseph's has gone 6-4. The forward also averages 7.0 boards per game and is coming off her second double-double of the season against Briarcliffe.

Adding more depth to the Lady Bears frontcourt are juniors Taylor Raccuglia and Samantha Retas. Raccuglia comes in averaging 11.2 points per game and 7.5 rebounds per game. The forward adds 2.4 blocks (No. 30 in Division III), 2.6 assists and 1.3 steals per game. Retas contributes a near double-double with 9.2 points and 10.2 rebounds per game. The forward chips in 2.3 blocks per game (No. 34 in Division III) and has seven double-doubles on the year.

Dolphin Tales

Last Time Out: Mount Saint Vincent picked up their second win in a row with a 70-57 triumph over NYU-Poly on Saturday. The Dolphins were led by Kelly Fraser who had 14 points and 20 rebounds, while Brittany Carroll contributed 20 points.

Mount Saint Vincent is having a resurgence under second-year head coach Kevin Clifford, having won more games this season already then they did the last two years combined. The Dolphins rely heavily upon underclassmen with 11 of their 15 players on the roster being freshmen or sophomores. The Dolphins play an up-tempo style of basketball, averaging 77.4 points per game (No. 24 in Division III). Mount Saint Vincent also does a good job of containing the opposition holding opponents to 33.8 shooting (No. 36 in Division III).

Leading the Dolphins is junior double-double machine Kelly Fraser. The center has 15 double-doubles on the season (No. 7 in Division III) and leads the team in scoring with 18.0 points per game and adds 13.3 boards per game (No. 9 in Division III). The three-time Skyline Player of the Week also is among the nation's leaders in blocked shots with 3.7 per game (No. 4 in Division III).

Also averaging double figures is two-time Skyline Rookie of the Week Brittany Lee who pours in 10.5 points per game and averages 6.7 caroms per game. One-time Rookie of the Week Brittany Carroll adds a three-point threat for the Dolphins, hitting 42-of-121 (34.7 percent) from beyond the arc and averages 10.6 points per game.

Two-time Skyline Rookie of the Week Christina Barone gives Mount Saint Vincent a reliable point guard as the freshman is dishing out 6.0 assists per game and puts up 9.1 points per game.
