MADISON, N.J. — The St. Joseph's University, NY (Brooklyn) women's basketball team saw action on Sunday afternoon, falling to Drew University 93-55 from Baldwin Gym.

How it Happened

The Rangers (6-1) raced out to a 21-0 lead, setting the tempo for the rest of the half. The run was snapped by when Destiny Hurt (Elmont, N.Y./Sewanhaka) found the cup at the 3:23 mark. Emma Kiley (Whitestone, N.Y./Archbishop Molloy) brought SJBK to double figures early in the second. A 13-0 run over four minutes  extended the hosts' lead to 32 before entering the break with a 53-16 advantage.

Kiley put up 13 points in the second half. Despite the Bears winning the fourth quarter, 22-21, going 4-for-7 from beyond the arc and Aaniya Telford (Brooklyn, N.Y./Fontbonne Hall Academy) dropping nine points, the damage was done as Drew picked up the home win.
