BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The St. Joseph's University, NY (Brooklyn) women's basketball team earned their third win in four games thanks to an 83-51 triumph over the SUNY College at Old Westbury on Tuesday night at The Hill Center.

Emma Kiley (Whitestone, N.Y./Archbishop Molloy) also dropped a season-high 24 points to go along with 11 boards. How It Happened

The Panthers (0-13, 0-10) began the contest with a short-lived 7-4 edge. The Bears used a 14-0 run, going 4-of-5 in the stretch from three-point land, to hold an 18-7 advantage. The lead grew to as many as 18 before taking a 29-13 lead into the second stanza.

The navy and gray continued their strong offensive showing in the second half. Hurt and Kiley scored a combined 32 points in the opening 20 minutes, each shooting above 50 percent, to propel the Bears to a 51-26 halftime result.
