Sequeira Named to Skyline Weekly Honor Roll
NEW YORK — St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) freshman Deserae Sequeira (Clark, N.J./Arthur L. Johnson) was named to the Skyline Conference women's soccer honor roll as the league released their weekly report earlier today.
Facing York College (N.Y.) on Saturday, the rookie forward scored her first collegiate goal 12 minutes into the contest and completed her first hat trick before halftime. Sequeira went on to finish with five goals and one assist to help power the Bears' 13-0 triumph over the Cardinals for the team's first win of the season.
The Bears (1-1) head to Morristown, N.J. on Wednesday, September 13 for a non-conference game at The College of Saint Elizabeth starting at 4 p.m.
