Women's Soccer Hosts ID Clinic on Feb. 10

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Head Women's Soccer Coach Gary Lawson and the St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) women's soccer team invites all high school girls through grade 12 to an ID clinic on Sunday, February 10.

Participants will be taken through a variety of soccer development activities as well as learn about playing soccer at the collegiate level. The three-hour clinic led by Lawson and the Bears student-athletes will take place at The Hill Center—the state-of-the-art athletic facility located on SJC's Clinton Hill campus at 212 Vanderbilt Avenue—from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and costs $50.

Lawson led the Bears to a program-best, fifth-place finish this past fall, qualifying for their second-straight Skyline Conference Championship berth—the first two post-season appearances in program history.

"The clinic is an excellent opportunity for soccer players thinking about playing collegiate soccer to experience what St. Joseph's College can offer," remarked Lawson. "You will also benefit from one-on-one interaction with the coaching staff, and play competitive small-sided indoor soccer at the Hill Center."
