PURCHASE, N.Y. — The St. Joseph's University, NY (Brooklyn) (3-5-1, 1-3) women's soccer team were on the wrong side of a 1-0 decision against Manhattanville College (3-6-1, 3-1-1) on Tuesday evening.
How it Happened
The Valiants fired off 10 shots through the first 38 minutes but none were able to get past shotstopper Julia Marin (Trumbull, Conn./Trumbull). The hosts found a breakthrough when a blocked shot was rebounded in at 38'.
Despite outshooting the Bears over the 90 minutes, the Valiants were unable to add to their advantage, settling for the 1-0 scoreline.
