Women’s Soccer Defeated by Mount Saint VIncent on Bollmann’s Senior Night

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The St. Joseph's University, N.Y. (Brooklyn) women's soccer team was dealt a 5-0 defeat by the College of Mount Saint Vincent on Tuesday afternoon from Aviator Field.

Prior to kickoff, senior Heather Bollmann (Broad Channel, N.Y./Monsignor McClancy) was honored in a pre-match ceremony to commemorate her final home contest in an SJBK uniform.

How it Happened

The Dolphins opened the scoring in the fourth minute courtesy of Alicia Rodriguez. They scored a pair of goals in the 16th minutes, with Rodriguez assisting the team's third goal, to take a 3-0. The junior midfielder scored her second of the match in the 23rd minute; providing the visitors with a 4-0 lead at the half.

Despite Mount Saint Vincent scoring a fifth, the Bears prevented further damage to keep their deficit at five.
