McMaster Named HVWAC Swimmer of the Week

BROOKLYN, NY – For the third time in her career St. Joseph's College senior Kristen McMaster (Brooklyn, NY/Fontbonne Hall) has been named the Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Week.

McMaster helped the Lady Bears to a 1-1 finish on the week with a win over HVWAC rival, New Rochelle. For the week McMaster won three individual races in the 50 yard freestyle and the 100 yard freestyle. She was also a part of two relay victories.

St. Joseph's rookie Maureen Donohue (Rochester, NY/Rochester) was also rewarded for her strong performances last week. The junior set a new conference best time of 1:26.66 in the 100 yard breaststroke against Brooklyn College.

The Lady Bears dive back into the pool on Saturday, December 3rd for a dual meet with The College of Notre Dame of Maryland. The match will commence at 3:00 pm.
