NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Freshman Morgan Summers (Bellerose, NY/St. Mary's) was victorious in all three events she competed in leading the St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) women's swimming team to a split of a double-dual meet against John Jay College and the College of New Rochelle on Friday evening at the CNR Wellness Center.

St. Joseph's (3-5, 1-1 HVWAC) defeated Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference foes New Rochelle (0-8, 0-2 HVWAC), 63-29 and was narrowly edged out by John Jay (5-5), 48-45. John Jay completed the sweep downing the Blue Angels, 62-31.

The Lady Bears captured five event wins in total, Summers capturing individual victories in the 200-yard individual medley and the 100-yard backstroke. Summers win in the backstroke leveled the John Jay dual with three events remaining. The freshman also led off the 200-yard freestyle relay squad that took first.
