PATCHOGUE, N.Y.— In the first Skyline Conference meeting between the two campuses of St Joseph's College women's tennis teams, SJC Long Island captured a 9-0 victory over SJC Brooklyn on Tuesday evening.

  • Pierre and Trerotola teamed up again at No. 1 doubles and provided the closest match of the evening falling 8-5 to Shannon Merker and Kelley McGrath.
  • Mary Edward and Princess Baptiste paired up at No. 2 doubles and suffered an 8-2 decision to Vicoria Makulik and Michelle Stanczak.
  • Trerotola took six games off Merker in the lead singles match falling, 6-3, 6-3.

Next up for St. Joseph's

The Lady Bears will conclude Skyline Conference play against Farmingdale State on Saturday, October 17. Originally a home match, the match will now be played at Farmingdale starting at 3 p.m.
