Women’s Tennis Stymied by SJC Long Island
PATCHOGUE, N.Y. — The St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) women's tennis suffered a 9-0 setback to sibling rivals St. Joseph's College (Long Island) on the road on Saturday afternoon at the SJC Outdoor Field Complex.
Senior Denise Trerotola (Brooklyn, N.Y./St. Saviour) posted the closest match of the afternoon falling in straight sets at No. 1 singles 6-3, 6-4. The Golden Eagles (4-2, 2-0 Skyline) won seven of the nine matches at love.

The Bears (2-6, 2-3 Skyline) take a brief break from Skyline play, facing Fairleigh Dickinson University at Florham on Friday (Oct. 12) on the road starting at 4 p.m.
