Cross Country Competes at Mount Saint Mary Invitational

MILTON, N.Y. — Senior Justin Russell (Saline, Mich./Saline) and freshman Alexis Buchanan (Murrieta, Calif./Murrieta) were the top finishers for St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) men's and women's cross country teams at the Mount Saint Mary Knight Invitational at the Hudson Valley Sportsdome on Saturday morning.

Russell covered the 8K track at the site of next month's Skyline Championships in 40:31, good for 196th place.

Buchanan posted a 6K time of 33:27 in her first collegiate race to finish in 127th overall.

Both teams didn't place in the team scoring fielding incomplete scoring fives.
