Cross Country Competes at SJC Invitational

KINGS PARK, N.Y. — Freshman Alexis Buchanan (Murrieta, Calif./Murrieta) and senior Justin Russell (Saline, Mich./Saline) were the top finishers for the St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) women's and men's cross country teams at the St. Joseph's College Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

Buchanan paced the women to a 21st-place team finish with a time of 23:24 to finish in 65th place out of 196 runners,

Russell clocked in at 38:09 to take 182nd place in the 249-runner men's field to guide the men to a 30th place team finish.

The Bears compete in the Skyline Conference Championships on Thursday, October 25 at the Hudson Valley Sports Dome starting at 1 p.m.
