Dance Team Tryouts on Tuesday, September 15

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) head dance team coach Kelly Hartney has announced open tryouts for the Diamonds to be held on Tuesday, September 15 at 6 p.m. in the dance studio on the 3rd floor of The Hill Center.

All interested in trying out MUST bring a front and back copy of their insurance card. 

The Diamonds perform at all men’s and women’s home basketball games in addition to other events in school. In 2012, the Diamonds competed at the UDA College National Championships in Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, the first appearance in school history. The Diamonds have also performed at Madison Square Garden during halftime of a New York Liberty WNBA game and at the Barclays Center home of the Brooklyn Nets, during an SJC men's and women's basketball games in 2012, 2013 and 2014.

The St. Joseph's College dance team is multi-talented with different backgrounds in dance and varied levels of experience. They perform all different types of routines, from jazz and hip-hop to pom and theatrical.
