In only their third intercollegiate competition, the St. Joseph’s College women’s swimming team captured their first win on Thursday night with a 117-104 victory over SUNY-Old Westbury at the Old Westbury Aquatic Center.

Lady Bears swimming continued their inaugural season competing in a double dual meet against St. Joseph’s-LI and Mount Saint Vincent on Sunday afternoon at the Danzi Athletic Center in Patchogue, NY. The Lady Bears lost both matches falling 41-32 to St. Joseph’s-LI and 55-21 to Mount Saint Vincent.

St. Joseph's College - Brooklyn Athletics achieved yet another historic milestone this year as it competed in its first-ever intercollegiate swimming meet, a double-dual against Sarah Lawrence College and the College of New Rochelle held in Bronxville, NY at Sarah Lawrence College last Saturday. Athletic Director, Frank P. Carbone exclaims, "This is a very exciting day for St. Joseph's College Athletics. We have an extremely talented and dedicated group of young women here and have proven themselves to be competitive in just a short period of time despite the limited resources at our disposal."
