Winter Weather Wipes Out Weekend Baseball and Softball Slate

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Due to the wintry conditions moving through the metropolitan area this weekend, all St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) baseball and softball games scheduled for March 11th and 12th have been postponed.

Baseball will now travel to the College of Staten Island on Thursday, April 6 for a doubleheader starting at 4 p.m. The originally scheduled home opener vs. Lehman has been rescheduled as a single game on Wednesday, April 26 starting at 4 p.m. at American Legion Field.

No make-up date has been set at this time for the softball doubleheader vs. Baruch.

Baseball (1-2) will play their home opener at American Legion Field hosting City College of New York on Saturday, March 18th in a non-conference twin bill starting at noon.

Softball (4-2) is slated to host Yeshiva University in their Skyline Conference opener on Thursday, March 16 in a doubleheader slated to begin at 3 p.m.
