Collet Receives Weekly Honor Roll Nod
NEW YORK — St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) sophomore Lucas Collet (Toulouse, France/Lyc'ee Bellevue) was named to the Skyline Conference Baseball weekly honor roll announced by the league office today.
In the Bears three-game series with United States Merchant Marine Academy this past weekend, Collet went 5-for-12 at the dish (.417). He also drove in a team-leading four RBI, scored twice and snagged a stolen base.
Collet highlighted his week in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader driving in three runs during a 2-for-5 effort.
The Bears are back on the diamond this Thursday for a non-conference twin bill against sibling rivals St. Joseph's College (Long Island) starting at 1 p.m. at the SJC Outdoor Field Complex.
