Men's Basketball Gameday: Bears at Southern Virginia & Apprentice

BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- After splitting a pair of games at the University of Dallas Classic, the Bears (2-2) travel to Virginia for matchups against a pair of fellow 2013 USCAA National Championship qualifiers in Southern Virginia University and The Apprentice School.

Saturday, November 30 at 2 p.m. at Southern Virginia University
Sunday, December 1 at 2 p.m. at The Apprentice School

Series History

The Bears will face Southern Virginia for the first time while St. Joseph's matchup against the Builders will be their second all-time meeting with the Bears earning a 64-61 victory at home last November in the schools' first meeting.

Bears Last Time Out

St. Joseph's led from start to finish in a 73-70 victory over Austin College to conclude their Texas trip in the University of Dallas Classic last Saturday. David Louison (21 pts, 7 reb), Michael Megafu (16 pts, 5 reb) and Ian Duff (11 pts, 7 reb) all scored in double figures.

Southern Virginia suffered a heartbreaking 83-82 loss to Marymount University on Tuesday in their Capital Athletic Conference opener, snapping a 28-game home winning streak.

Builders Last Time Out

Apprentice fell to Virginia Wesleyan, #13 in D3hoops.com Top 25, 103-68 on Tuesday allowing 17 three-pointers.
