Summer Spotlight: Kyle Johnson, Men's Soccer & Tennis
Kyle Johnson capped his sophomore season having received the Coaches' Award on both men's soccer and tennis teams. On the soccer pitch, Johnson started in all 13 games, playing in the midfield, and tallied one goal and two assists, scoring his lone goal of the season against Vaughn. On the tennis court, the Red Hook, New York native, tallied three singles victories and six doubles wins, advancing to the finals of the HVIAC #2 Doubles Championship.

Best moment in a Bears uniform…
Launching a half field, game winning assist over Medgar Evers College on our 2013 senior night to send our seniors off with a big win. Also, competing in the HVIAC Tournament Championship tennis match with my best friend as my doubles partner.

There isn't enough space to write about the things that go on in tennis with Coach TC, enough said.
Pre-game rituals or superstitions…
I drink a gallon of water for soccer on game day and also clean my cleats before a game.

Favorite road trip so far…
Going anywhere with the tennis team is easily the best times I've had travelling. Coach TC and the tennis team make being stuck on the BQE in traffic seem like a comedy routine.
Favorite place/food to eat on team trips…
Buffalo Wild Wings is the best and Hooters is always a win win.
My goal(s) for next season is/are to…
Make it into the HVIAC Tournament for soccer and to keep progressing the development of both the Soccer and Tennis teams.
