BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) men's soccer team lost 2-0 to the College of Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday afternoon from the campus of Kingsborough Community College. A pair of first-half goals were enough to see the Dolphins improve to 5-1-1 in Skyline play (7-1-2 overall) while the Bears dropped to 2-6-1 overall (0-4-1 Skyline).

How it Happened

Led by Eric Santiago Torres (Woodside, N.Y./Forest Hills) and YeonJun Jung (Seoul, South Korea) with a pair of shots, the SJC attack fired off six in the opening 20 minutes, compared to the Dolphins' three. However, the visitors broke the deadlock in the 29th on Santiago Ferrer's dribbler to the far post. They doubled their lead from the penalty spot in the 37th, taking the 2-0 lead into the interval.

The Bears continued their attacking ways in the second half, outshooting the Dolphins 13-9 in the period and 22-13 over the 90 minutes. However, CMSV held on to the two-goal advantage walking away with their fifth conference win of the season.
