Naci, Kieblesz Garner All-Skyline Men's Soccer First Team Accolades

NEW YORK — Victor Naci (Bordeaux, France/Bernard Palissy) and Matthew Kieblesz (Middle Village, N.Y./Monsignor McClancy) of the St. Joseph's University, N.Y. (Brooklyn) men's soccer team were both selected as All-Skyline Conference Men's Soccer First Team honorees. The announcement was made by the league office on Tuesday.

Naci, last season's conference Offensive Player of the Year, earned first-team honors for the second straight season. He opened his scoring account with goals in each of the Bears' first three contests. With a pair of two-goal games in conference victories over Sarah Lawrence and Purchase, Naci finished the year with 10 goals; good for fourth in the Skyline. Four of his goals were game-winners, topping the league.

Kieblesz earned his first career postseason honor. The 6-3 defender provided a pair of highlight-reel goals this season; a bicycle-kick finish against Sarah Lawrence and a towering header against Mount Saint Mary in the game's waning seconds to rescue a 1-1 draw. The Bears outscored their opposition 9-1 in victories in large part to Kieblesz's efforts in the navy and gray back line.

The Bears concluded the season with a seventh-place finish at 4-6-1 and a 5-9-1 mark overall.

The All-Conference and Player, Rookie, and Coach of the Year awards are voted on by the Skyline Conference's 12 head men's soccer coaches based on regular-season play.
