Men's Tennis Opens Skyline Play Against Preseason Favorite Yeshiva
FLUSHING, N.Y. — The St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) men's tennis team opened up the Skyline Conference portion of their schedule, but three-time defending champs Yeshiva University was too much for the Bears in a 9-0 setback on Wednesday evening at the USTA National Tennis Center.

SJC Highlights
- Junior Alec Smalley teamed up with Matthew Smith at No. 3 doubles and took three games off their opponents in a 8-3 defeat. Smalley also managed to collect the most games by a Bear in singles play, falling 6-0, 6-2 in the No. 4 slot.
- Kevin Caicedo, Shivam Ghai and Carlos Mayorga each took a game off their opponents in singles at No. 2, 3, and 6 singles, respectively.
Next Up for the Bears
- St. Joseph's will continue a three-match stretch of Skyline Conference action heading to Newburgh, N.Y. to face Mount Saint Mary College on Friday, March 31. First serve is set for 4 p.m.
