Helfant Earns Skyline Men’s Volleyball All-Sportsmanship Selection

NEW YORK — Sophomore opposite hitter Alex Helfant (Quito, Ecuador/Alliance Academy International) was named to the Skyline Conference Men's Volleyball All-Sportsmanship Team. The announcement was made by the league office on Monday morning.

In his first season, Helfant led the team with 157 digs and 22 service aces. He finished second in kills (108) while his 2.56 digs per set placed him second in the conference. The rookie also ranked third on the squad with 36 assists.

Helfant registered three double-doubles and four double-digit kill matches. He logged season-highs of 19 digs at Mount Saint Vincent and 14 kills against Pratt.
