BROOKLYN, NY – The Lady Bears successful season has seen them reach new heights. In an announcement made by the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA), St. Joseph's is ranked third in the latest Coaches' Poll, the highest ever in program history. St. Joseph's, who started the season ranked 19th, have continually climbed the board as they compiled an impressive 16-4 record.

There has been another change at the top with Rochester College the new number one. Only them and St. Mary-of-the-Woods College are ahead of the Lady Bears who fell just ten points shy of the top spot.

St. Joseph's continues a five doubleheader stretch in five days as they look to claim the top spot in the USCAA. They have a battle with Skyline champions Farmingdale State on this afternoon and also play Sarah Lawrence, Lehman and Purchase this week.

The next home game is Saturday against Purchase at Padavan-Preller Fields in Bellerose, NY. The team will also celebrate Alumni, Family & Friends Day with first pitch slated for 1 p.m.
