Softball Season Opener at Baruch Canceled; Lady Bears Open Season in Arizona Next Week

BROOKLYN, N.Y.—Due to unplayable field conditions, the St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) softball season opener vs. Baruch College scheduled for Saturday, March 14 at Randalls Island has been canceled.

The Lady Bears will head west to Arizona to open their 2015 campaign with a six-game set at the Tucson Invitational Games. St. Joseph's begins play on Thursday, March 19 against the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and Denison University.

St. Joseph's and Baruch are still scheduled to meet on Saturday, April 4 at Padavan-Preller Field for a Lady Bears home twin bill.
