Lady Bears Softball Volunteers At Youth Clinic At Sunset Park Recreation Center

BROOKLYN, N.Y.—Members of St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) softball took some time out of their busy schedules yesterday to help introduce sports to young girls as part of the National Girls and Women in Sports Day at the Sunset Park Recreation Center.

Senior Cassandra Molinari, junior Maria Randazzo and sophomore Kristin Ferrigno helped conduct a softball clinic with the girls, ranging from ages 7 to 12, showing them the basics of swinging, throwing and catching.

Athletic Director and Head Softball Coach Frank P. Carbone was also in attendance and spoke to the girls at the beginning of the event, which was coordinated by Assistant Softball Coach Alyson Chiaramonte, who works full time in the NYC Parks Department.
