Three Lady Bears received Association of Division III Independent (AD3I) awards for their play on the court this season. Samantha Retas was named to the AD3I First Team, Taylor Raccuglia earned Second Team honors, while freshman Destiny Marino secured an Honorable Mention.

The Lady Bears grabbed an early lead against NCAA Division I opponent NJIT, but would allow two big offensive runs as they fell to the Highlanders, 78-35, Friday night in Newark. Taylor Raccuglia scored 11 points and seven rebounds in a losing effort, while Samantha Retas added 10 points.

The Lady Bears erupted for a 21-8 run over a nine-minute stretch in the second half as they defeated Albany Pharmacy, 74-63, to win the HVIAC Championship Sunday night in Albany. Samantha Retas was named tournament MVP following her 14th double-double of the season, scoring a season-high 28 points along with 10 rebounds.
