Bio

Lauren Quesada returns to Clinton Hill to join Joe Giacchi's coaching staff ahead of the 2023-24 women's basketball season. She started 65 of the 77 games she played in over her four-year career at St. Joseph's, averaging 10.8 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. The forward was a three-time Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week in 2016-17 and was the conference's Player of the Week once in the 2018-19 campaign.

As a junior, Quesada was one of six players in the Skyline to average a double-double; dropping 11.5 points and collecting 10.9 boards per contest. Putting up a team-best 14 double-doubles in 2018-19, Quesada had a 15-point, 18-rebound showing against Farmingdale State. She would score a career-high 33 points as a senior, coming in the first round of the 2020 Skyline Conference Championship against Mount Saint Vincent, to go with 13 rebounds and six made three-pointers. She then featured in four games at Catholic University in Washington D.C. during the truncated 2020-21 season.

In addition to representing the Bears on the hardwood, she was a four-year member of the women's soccer program,  suiting up most games between the sticks. Away from athletics, Quesada was a two-time member of the Bears Scholar-Athlete Team and the Skyline Academic Honor Roll. The Westbury, N.Y. native is currently a case manager at the Queens County District Attorney's Office.
