NEW YORK — In their first Skyline Conference match of the season, the St. Joseph's University, NY (Brooklyn) women's soccer team suffered a 2-0 defeat to Mount Saint Mary College on Tuesday night from Randall's Island.
How it Happened
Despite there being few chances for either side in the first half, the Knights (2-6-1, 2-0) found a breakthrough in the 28th minute courtesy of Megan Stosch. The visitors held on to the 1-0 scoreline at the intermission.
Emma Mihale gave Mount Saint Mary an insurance goal with 18 minutes let to play in the second half as they saw out the 2-0 result.
