Women’s Tennis Blanked By Brooklyn College.

BROOKLYN, NY – The St. Joseph's College women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to Brooklyn College on Friday afternoon at the Brooklyn College Tennis Courts. With the loss, St. Joseph's falls to 0-5 and Brooklyn College improves to 4-5.

Christine Parker (Brooklyn, NY/St. Edmund Prep) had the strongest showing for the Lady Bears losing 6-3, 6-2 at #1 singles while Elizabeth Stein (Forest Hills, NY/St. Francis Prep) lost 6-1, 6-2 at #5 singles. Darcy Crimi (Glendale, NY/Christ the King) and Shamika Thomas (Brooklyn, NY/St. Joseph's) teamed up at #3 doubles falling by a score of 8-4.

St. Joseph's returns to the courts next Friday, October 15 for a Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference matchup on the road against New Rochelle starting at 4 p.m.
