Women’s Tennis Falls to 0-2 After Loss to Staten Island

STATEN ISLAND, NY - The St. Joseph's College women's tennis team fell to 0-2 after their loss Monday night. The Lady Bears were defeated 9-0 by the Staten Island Dolphins. 

The Lady Bears put forth a more spirited effort Monday night after their defeat to St. Joseph's Long Island on Friday. Senior Christine Parker (Brooklyn, NY/St. Edmund Prep) lost in 1st singles 10-2 while sophomore Kristen Bauman (Crystal Lake, IL/Prairie Ridge) fell by the same score in 2^nd singles.  The team of sophomore Patricia Nealon (Maspeth, NY/St. Francis Prep) and Kimone Wizzart was defeated in 3^rd singles 8-2.

The team returns to action seeking their first victory of the year on Wednesday, September 22, at York.
