Lady Bears Fall to HVWAC Foe Sarah Lawrence

BRONXVILLE, NY – St. Joseph's women's tennis began a streak of three straight Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference (HVWAC) games with a loss to defending conference champion, Sarah Lawrence. The Lady Bears were swept 9-0, bringing their record to 2-3, 1-1 in the HVWAC.

Sophomore Kelly McNamee put up the best fight playing up a flight at first singles. The Lady Bears were without junior Kristen Bauman, so McNamee took the reins, but lost 10-4. Darcy Crimi also played up, moving to second singles, where she dropped her match 10-2.

St. Joseph's will look to even out their record as they travel to Pratt on Friday, October 21 for their third conference game of the season.
