The talk of the tournament was the upset at number two singles. St. Joseph's Kelly McNamee (Glendale, NY/Mary Louis) took down Sarah Lawrence's Kayla Pincus in a heart-racing 8-6 match to advance to the finals. Pincus was 4-3 on the season at #2 singles, including a win over St. Joseph's in the regular season. It was Kakavas' third win of the season and first at #4 singles. For Marino, it marked her fourth consecutive victory before dropping her semifinals match in the next round.

Regular season champions Pratt Institute captured the tournament championship, winning five of the nine flight championships.  Sarah Lawrence was the tournament runner-up in the five team field.
