Pierre Secures HVIAC, AD3I Player of the Week Honors

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Tathiana Pierre (Brooklyn, N.Y./Bishop Ford) earned the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) and the Association of Division III Independents (AD3I) Women's Tennis Player of the Week following her play on the court.

This Pierre's third straight HVIAC Player of the Week award for St. Joseph's (3-8) and the second time she's been tabbed AD3I Player of the Week. With the two honors, she has now secured five weekly awards this season.

The junior extended her team-best winning streak to nine games by sweeping her No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles matches against York and Berkeley, leading St. Joseph's to a 2-1 week.

Pierre and the rest of the Lady Bears are preparing for the upcoming HVIAC Tournament, which takes place at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on Saturday. First serve is at 10:00 a.m.
