FLUSHING, N.Y. — Senior Denise Trerotola (Brooklyn, N.Y./St. Saviour) saw her four-match winning streak come to a halt as the St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) women's tennis team (1-2) suffered a 9-0 setback to Hunter College (3-2) in a non-conference matchup at the USTA National Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon.

Trerotola played the closest match of the afternoon, taking her first loss in singles this season, in a hard-fought match at No. 1 singles. She dropped the opening set in a tiebreak, before falling by a break in set two, 7-6 (3), 6-4.

The Bears have a day off before squaring off with borough rivals Brooklyn College on Monday (Sep. 24) in a road match starting at 4:30 p.m.
