FLUSHING, N.Y. — The St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) women's tennis team suffered a 9-0 setback to Purchase College in Skyline Conference action on Wednesday evening at the Billie Jean King USTA National Tennis Center.

Senior Denise Trerotola (Brooklyn, N.Y./St. Saviour) played a gritty match at No. 1 singles, forcing a third set after dropping the opening set, but was edged out in the super-tiebreaker, 6-2, 2-6, 1-0 (9).
