Volleyball Sweeps Tri-Match, Earns Solo 1st in Hudson Valley

Lady Bears Volleyball swept Cooper Union and Sarah Lawrence on Saturday in Bronxville, NY to improve to 7-4 overall and remain undefeated (3-0) in conference play. The Lady Bears now sit in first place atop the Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference. St. Joseph's is currently on a three game winning streak, the longest of this season.

The Lady Bears continued their dominant play against local opponents winning both matches in straight sets. The attack was led once again by senior Tamara Bulatovic (Queens, NY / Grover Cleveland) who tallied 13 kills, 19 digs and 8 service aces over the two game stretch. In the game against Sarah Lawrence, senior setter Jaime Mascetti (Queens, NY / St. John's Prep) had team highs in assists (12), kills (8) and digs (10). Sophomore outside hitter Yliane Ulloa (Queens, NY / Midwood) also contributed with 11 kills, 19 digs and 4 service aces.

The Lady Bears host Lehman College (7-4) Monday night at 7:30 PM in a non-conference matchup at Brooklyn Technical High School.
