Cross Country Wraps Up Season at Skyline Championships

MILTON, N.Y. —  Raquel Ramirez and Aaron De Leon were the top finishers for the St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) cross country teams as they competed in the 2021 Skyline Conference Championships on Sunday.

Ramirez finished 42nd overall to pace the women to a 10th place team finish covering the 6K course in 35:28. Maeve McKeon and Lauren Van Der Kamp finished in 59th and 60th with times of 40:43 and 43:00 to round out the top three. Jessica Mecham (45:45) and Jaden Mecham (49:49) completed the five.

De Leon led the men to a seventh-place team finish with a time of 36:50 good for 59th overall. Christopher Tracy clocked in at 38:07 and Christopher Marina followed in 38:46 to finish in 65th and 69th, respectively. Justin Biordi cracked the 40-minute mark in 39:52 and George Garyfallos rounded out the scoring five in 40:54.
