The Lady Bear Facts
St. Joseph's has peaked at the right time putting together a nine-game winning streak to conclude the season. Over that stretch, the team hit a combined .407 and outscored the opposition 86-12.
Alyson Chiaramonte has been nearly unhittable in the circle, compiling a 5-0 record with three shutouts, lowering her ERA to 0.99 on the season. As of last week, the four-time USCAA All-American ranks in the top 10 in Division III in three categories and in the top 25 in six categories.
Caitlyn Kakavas rides a 12-game hitting streak, the longest by a Lady Bear this season. Over the last nine games, she has batted .519 with 14 hits, 12 RBI and 10 runs. Kakavas was named USCAA All-American honorable mention to open the tournament.
Danielle Marino's bat has also come alive in the final stretch, slugging a team leading .920 during the streak and batted .560 with 14 hits, 12 runs and nine RBI and two homers.
Andrea Sideli, who received USCAA, AD3I and HVWAC Player of the Week honors two weeks ago, has been the team's top run producer with 14 RBI and 11 hits over the last nine games.
