Marciniec and Doran Named to USCAA National All-Academic Team

Senior Joanna Marciniec and junior Janine Doran were both named to the USCAA Women's Basketball National All-Academic Teams as announced at the championships banquet last Tuesday.

Three Lady Bears Named to HVWAC All-Conference Team

Ashley McQuillan, Janine Doran and Kelly McNamee all earned HVWAC All-Conference honors. The women helped lead the Lady Bears to a regular season conference championship and the conference tournament championship game.

The Lady Bears conclude their 2011-2012 campaign at home hosting USCAA #3 ranked Briarcliffe College. St. Joseph's will also celebrate Senior Night for the Lady Bears and Dance Team honoring Kristin Binckes, Joanne Crimeni, Kelly Hartney, Caitlyn Kakavas, Joanna Marciniec, Ashley McQuillan and Lisa Scheer in a ceremony after the conclusion of the game. Tip-off is at 7:30 pm.

Lady Bears Fall to Briarcliffe on Senior Night

Senior Ashley McQuillan netted 14 points to conclude her career with 1,481 points (4th all-time) and sophomore Kelly McNamee shot 5-of-7 from the field to finish with the second-highest shooting percentage (.492) in school history, but the Lady Bears finished their season with a level 13-13 record after a 77-61 loss to Briarcliffe on Senior Night.
