St. Joseph's took home two of the Association of Division III Independents (AD3I) top honors as Samantha Retas was named the Women's Basketball Player of the Year and Frank P. Carbone was selected Coach of the Year. Kelly McNamee was named Second Team All-Independent while Janine Doran, Teresa Mangan and Taylor Raccuglia each received honorable honorable mention.

Teresa Mangan scored a career-high 30 points and Janine Doran added a 13-point, 14-rebound double-double leading St. Joseph's (17-10) to a 91-68 victory over Yeshiva to close out the 2012-13 regular season. Their 17th win is also the most wins since the 2005-06 season.

Tournament MVP Kelly McNamee scored 13 points in the second half, powering a critical run that gave the Lady Bears the lead for good as St. Joseph's (16-10) defeated Albany Pharmacy, 57-43, in the 2013 Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference Championship. The defense also limited the Panthers to a season-worst 23% shooting. Samantha Retas and Taylor Raccuglia scored 12 points each.

Megan Moran scored 12 of her game-high-tying 16 points in the second half to hold off a surging Berkeley College as St. Joseph's (15-10) won their third straight game setting up a rematch against Albany College of Pharmacy for the HVWAC Championship tomorrow. Kelly McNamee also scored 16 points.

Megan Moran led the Lady Bears with 15 points while Kelly McNamee chipped in a season-high 14 points along with swiping a career-high five steals.
