St. Joseph's Places 16 Student-Athletes on HVIAC Fall All-Academic Team

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Sixteen student-athletes from St. Joseph’s College (Brooklyn) were honored by the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) as members of its Fall All-Academic Team in recognition of their academic achievements during the Fall semester.

St. Joseph's was well represented, placing the third-most student-athletes on the 115-person team, out of the 10 institutions represented. Additionally, two were All-Conference Team members in their respective sports – Pamela Chernyakhovsky (women's soccer) and Victoria LoBosco (women's tennis) – and eight were repeat honorees, six of whom were seniors who received the distinction the maximum three times. 

The All-Academic Team consists of student-athletes who have reached sophomore academic standing and have earned a 3.5 cumulative grade point average or better at the conclusion of the fall semester, and participate in one of the conference's fall sports – men’s soccer, men’s cross country, women’s soccer, women’s tennis, women’s volleyball and women’s cross country.
