Freshman forward David Louison has been named the D3hoops.com 2012 Atlantic Region Men’s Basketball Rookie of the Year and becomes the first Bear or Lady Bear in any sport to receive a major year-end accolade from D3Hoops.com or related D3Sports.com network sites.

Staten Island Too Much for Bears to Handle on Senior Night

Seniors Justin Gist scored 18 points and Antoine Forehand added 12 points in their final home game in a Bears uniform, but it was not enough against the top team in the Atlantic region as Staten Island broke open a three-point game at halftime and handed the Bears a 76-54 loss on Senior Night.
